Best generator for off-grid cabin?

Looking to power my dry cabin about 30 miles outside Fairbanks. Need something reliable for the -40° winters. Currently looking at:

• Honda EU2200i

• Predator 3500

• Champion dual fuel

Budget is around $800-1000. Anyone have experience running generators in extreme cold? Tips for winterizing?
