You weren't doing anything wrong. They were.
Why I Built This
A friend of mine listed some ammo on one of the other platforms. They charged him to post it. He sold it. Then they wanted to charge him again just to remove the listing.
That conversation stuck with me.
Alaska deserves better. We deserve a verified Alaska marketplace, built for how we actually live up here. Where aircraft, firearms, snowmachines, and remote cabins aren't afterthoughts. Where trust isn't optional.
So I built FrostBoard.
Imagine
Imagine typing "trucks under $15k that can tow a boat" and getting results that actually match. Not because you clicked through five menus. Because the platform understood what you meant.
Imagine knowing that the person selling a firearm has been ID verified before they ever posted.

Alaska tutors, coaches, and homeschool programs list what they teach, so the families looking for them can find them.

Trust by Design
Nobody can list an item, post an event, or message you until they pass a government ID check. Kids take part through supervised accounts linked to an ID-verified parent.
One Check for Everyone Who Posts
Before anyone can list, host a garage sale, post an event, write in The Lodge, or send a message, they confirm their email and phone and pass a government ID check. The same check applies in every category, from firearms and aircraft to baby gear.
Reputation Follows Every Member
Reviews, history, and verification status stay with you across the whole platform. Verified once, trusted everywhere.
