Report violations when you see them
DO:
- Provide accurate, complete descriptions
- Use clear, honest photos of actual items
- Disclose known defects or issues
- Price items fairly
- Respond to inquiries promptly
- Mark items as sold when they sell
DON'T:
- Use stock photos without disclosure
- Misrepresent condition or features
- List items you don't actually have
- Spam or post duplicate listings
- Use misleading titles to attract clicks
The following may NOT be listed on FrostBoard:
Illegal Items:
- Stolen property
- Counterfeit goods
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Items that violate federal, state, or local law
Weapons (with exceptions):
- Illegal firearms and weapons
- Explosives and explosive devices
- Note: Legal firearms ARE permitted with ID verification - see Firearms Policy
Adult Content:
- Pornography or explicit sexual content
- Adult services
- Sex toys (exceptions may apply for health/wellness items)
Dangerous Items:
- Hazardous materials
- Recalled products
- Items that pose safety risks
Exploitation:
- Human trafficking
- Child exploitation materials (immediate law enforcement referral)
- Services that exploit vulnerable people
Other Prohibited:
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
- Get-rich-quick schemes
- Ticket scalping above face value
- Medical devices requiring prescription
- Unregistered securities or investments
DO:
- Be respectful and professional
- Keep negotiations on-platform when possible
- Respond to messages in a timely manner
DON'T:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Use hate speech or discriminatory language
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Share other users' personal information
- Impersonate other users or entities
Recommendations:
- Meet in public, well-lit locations
- Bring a friend for high-value transactions
- Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, walk away
- For vehicles: meet at a police station or DMV
- For firearms: complete transfers through licensed FFL dealer
Red Flags:
- Seller refuses to meet in person
- Price is too good to be true
- Pressure to pay via wire transfer or gift cards
- Requests for personal financial information
- Unwillingness to provide additional photos or information
- Leave honest reviews based on actual transactions
- Do not offer incentives for positive reviews
- Do not leave fake reviews (positive or negative)
- Do not retaliate against users who leave honest negative reviews
- Dispute resolution is available for unfair reviews
- Stay on topic in category-specific discussions
- No personal attacks or harassment
- No self-promotion without value
- Respect diverse viewpoints
- Mark spoilers when discussing media
- No doxxing or sharing private information

All reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.
Violations may result in:
- 1Content removal
- 2Warning
- 3Temporary suspension
- 4Permanent ban
- 5Referral to law enforcement (for illegal activity)
Severity depends on:
- Nature of the violation
- User's history
- Impact on other users
- Intent
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, contact appeals@frostboard.com within 14 days. Include your username and explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.
The following result in immediate permanent ban and potential law enforcement referral:
- Child exploitation content
- Human trafficking
- Credible threats of violence
- Fraud schemes
- Repeated serious violations
