About
The Alaska Native Heritage Center hosts free twice-monthly Community Gatherings for Western Alaska residents who relocated to Anchorage after Typhoon Halong. Gatherings include a shared meal with opportunities to cook together and participate in cultural activities. Attendees also have access to the Fairview Community Recreation Center amenities including a basketball court, weight room, reading nook, and kids' indoor gym. Free transportation can be arranged by contacting ANHC's Community Engagement Manager.
