    Golden Days is Fairbanks' biggest summer tradition, running July 18 through 25 with the theme 'Stars, Stripes and Gold Strikes.' The week-long celebration includes costume contests, a BBQ cook-off, foot races, and the Alaska's largest parade on Saturday, July 25. The Rubber Duckie Race drops 8,000 rubber ducks into the Chena River at 3:00 PM on July 25.
