    Yes. Free to join, free to post, free to buy and sell. Subscriptions and listing boosts are optional extras, never a requirement. The one required cost is the ID check, a one-time $5, and it is free through December 31, 2026, because Clint is paying that bill, not you.

    Why does FrostBoard require ID verification?

    A government ID is the one thing a throwaway account cannot hide behind. Before anyone lists, posts, or messages, they pass a government ID check, so a real, accountable person stands behind every listing and message. Kids take part through supervised accounts linked to an ID-verified parent.

    What makes FrostBoard different from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist?

    Nobody can list, post, or message on FrostBoard until they pass a government ID check, and reviews run in both directions. Rifles and shotguns, which Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist do not allow, have their own category here under our published Firearms Policy.

    Can I sell firearms on FrostBoard?

    Yes. Rifles, shotguns, ammunition, optics, and hunting gear have a dedicated category for ID-verified members, governed by our published Firearms Policy and all applicable federal, state, and local law. Buyers and sellers are responsible for lawful transfers.
