FrostBoard's First Airplane

The Dispatch #2, first sent by email on July 8, 2026.

A pilot at the Great Alaska Aviation Gathering told me his buddy called about a propeller listed for sale.

He asked every right question. Engine history. Logbook entries. Reason for selling.

The voice on the other end answered each one. Calm. Confident. Friendly.

It wasn't a person. It was an AI voice running a script.

Thirteen thousand dollars, gone. FBI report filed.

If you've ever hesitated before wiring money to a stranger, or told a buddy "I don't trust this," you were right. The system was broken. Not you.

In 2024 alone, the FBI logged 859,532 complaints and $16.6 billion in reported losses. And those are just the people who reported it.

That is exactly why FrostBoard exists. Every buyer and seller is a real, government ID-verified person with a name behind the deal. Not anonymous. Not a bot. Accountable.

FrostBoard just got its first airplane

A 1975 Piper PA-18 Super Cub, listed by an Alaskan named Lloyd. He's the first person to trust FrostBoard with something that big.

He listed it on the Fourth of July. Being first, he hit a few rough edges. We got to work over the holiday weekend and shipped real fixes because of him. Photo rotation. Smarter display of detailed specs, with a little AI help. Richer detail capture like condition. More reliable listings. More room for specialized, high-value items like aircraft.

Because Lloyd trusted us first, everyone who lists after him has it better. I reached out to Lloyd personally to thank him, and gifted him six months of FrostBoard Pro.

That is what this community does. We show up for each other.

What makes FrostBoard different

Two things. Both matter.

One. Every user is government ID-verified. Buyers and sellers, both sides. Two-way reviews. Bans that stick. When you message someone, there's a real, accountable person on the other end. Not a voice reading a script.
