What RummageBoard actually is
Alaska is big. Trees, mountains, hillsides, side roads no one drives unless they live on them.
Your rummage sale at the end of the cul-de-sac in your subdivision is invisible to the person who would have driven 30 miles to buy that thing you don't need anymore. A cardboard sign on Glenn Highway does not fix that. Neither does a Facebook post your 60 followers might scroll past.
We needed one place. Somewhere every Alaskan can post a sale, every Alaskan can find a sale, and we all start training each other to check it.

RummageBoard is a single map of every active garage sale, estate sale, moving sale, and multi-family event in Alaska. Hosts publish their actual address right on the listing. Buyers verify their email and phone. The address is right there. Pick the sales worth your morning. Drive over. Done.
You also tell us how far you are willing to travel. Five miles. Fifty miles. A hundred miles for the right antique. Whatever your radius, we notify you when a sale pops up inside it. You will never have to wonder if you missed a good one again.

When you post a sale on RummageBoard, your actual home address goes public to verified neighbors. That is a real trust commitment. So before you can post, we run your government-issued ID through our verification partner. Takes a few minutes. Required exactly once.

- Hosts deserve to know they are inviting verified neighbors, not anonymous accounts
